Gibson/Baldwin Jazz Festival Set for New York Daily News Headlines Posted 10/10/2007 A new jazz festival will be held at the Whole Foods Market of Bowery in New York on Nov. 3 and 4. The first Gibson/Baldwin Jazz Festival will feature the likes of Jack Wilkins, Howard Alden, Allen Farnham, Joshua Breakstone, Ted Curson with The Spirit of Life Ensemble, Paul Abler, John DiMartino and Yusef Lateef. Music will take place at the Whole Foods Market of Bowery, at 95 E. Houston St., on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 5 p.m.-10:30 p.m., and on Nov. 4 from 2 p.m.-8:30 p.m. “I believe that food and music comforts the soul, and when the opportunity came to work with Gibson/Baldwin and their roster of talent, I naturally thought the Bowery store as the perfect location for this groundbreaking event,” said Rob Twyman, regional vice president for Whole Foods Market.
